CUTE Amigurumi Crochet FOX Pattern | FREE Pattern + Step-By-Step Video

Sharing is caring!

Meet Felicity Fox & her feathered friend, Dennis the Duck. This is an intermediate amigurumi crochet fox pattern with a vintage twist.

If you’ve been craving a crochet project that blends whimsy with a touch of vintage charm, I have the perfect pair for you. Felicity Fox and her faithful pet duck, Dennis, are stepping out of the past and onto your hook in this intermediate-level amigurumi pattern.

Inspired by classic storybook characters and 1940s countryside style, Felicity is dressed to impress with sweet little details that bring her to life. Dennis waddles along beside her, full of personality (and maybe just a little mischief). Whether you’re making them for display, gifting, or simply to enjoy the joy of stitching something special, this duo is sure to warm your heart.

This pattern is best suited for those with some amigurumi experience under their belt—but don’t worry, I’ll walk you through every step. So grab your yarn, pour a cup of tea, and let’s bring this charming fox and her duck companion to life.

Amigurumi Crochet Fox Pattern

This pattern is standard to most amigurumi toys. We will be crocheting in continuous rounds. Felicity Fox & Dennis the Duck amigurumi pattern is meant for advanced beginners/intermediate crocheters.

Remember that toy making is a process. It doesn’t have to be perfect and every toy you make will be an opportunity to improve your skills. I’ve learned something from every toy I’ve made.

Please share your finished toys with me on Facebook or Instagram @EliseRoseCrochet! I would love to see and share your work!

Felicity had always wanted a pet duck. Ever since she was a tiny little fox cub she dreamed of having her very own duckling to follow her around and quack at her every move. As soon as Dennis became her own she began to add a matching bow around his neck. But poor Dennis doesn’t like having to wear a frilly matching bow. Every chance he gets he pulls it off, but Felicity patiently ties it right back and pats Dennis right on the top of his feathered head and says, “Silly goose.” This further irritates Dennis since he’s a duck, not a goose! QUACK!

Notes: Amigurumi Crochet Fox Pattern

•Felicity Fox & Dennis the Duck are crocheted using continuous rounds.

•Mark the beginning of each round with a stitch marker.

•Keep an accurate count of your rounds and number of stitches per round.

•The number in front of the stitch abbreviation stands for how many stitches worked. For example: “6 sc” would mean “work one sc in each of the next 6 stitches”.

•The number in brackets at the end of a round indicates how many stitches you should have after working that round.

•The best way to stuff is to do a little at a time as you are making the fox & duck.

•Lightly stuff the lower part of the arms near the hand only.

I hope you’ve had as much fun bringing Felicity Fox (and her delightful duck, Dennis) to life as I had designing them. These two are such a special pair, and I imagine them strolling through a little vintage village, getting into gentle mischief and stopping for tea.
