6 Absolutely Adorable Easter Amigurumi Projects

Easter snuck up on me this year….again.

It seemed like winter lasted for a very long time, but all of sudden the flowers are blooming, the grass is green and the sun is shining. And I couldn’t be happier.

I wanted needed something I could whip up quickly and I found so many absolutely adorable patterns and of course, I wanted to share them with you.

Most of these projects are super simple and work up really quickly, but I couldn’t help sharing one that will take a little more time. I think you will agree with me that it HAD to be included. I mean, have you ever seen a cuter Easter Bunny Gnome before?

Easter Amigurumi Adoption Kit

Before we jump into the projects, I wanted to let you all know that I have a brand new Amigurumi Adoption Kit. It’s Easter themed and is full of bunnies and flowers and pretty pink clouds.

Crochet Bunny Headband

The moment I saw the Crochet Bunny Headband from Stephanie from Grace and Yarn I knew this was the project I wanted to make.

It looked fairly simple and since I had waited until the last minute, this free pattern was perfect.

I’ve been itching to try some new yarn, so I headed to my local Hobby Lobby to pick out something colorful to crochet with. I was immediately drawn to the Yarn Bee Luciana Yarn. The gorgeous pastel colors and fuzzy texture would be perfect for the bunny headband.

I used the colors:

• Ecru
• Mustard
• Smokey Purple
• Blush

Changes I Made

Because I used a different yarn than the original pattern, I had to adjust my crochet hook size and how many stitches I cast on for the headband.

I used a crochet Hook, Size H, 5.0mm and played with how many stitches I would need to begin the project. How many stitches you’ll need will depend on the size of your headband, the weight yarn you use and the size of your crochet hook.

Easter Bunny

Tata and Toys is quickly becoming one of my favorite new (to me) amigurumi designers. Each toy she designs is simply designed, but full of sweetness and personality.

While looking for Easter amigurumi projects, I discovered this one and knew it was a keeper.

I love that it’s quick and simple, but so completely adorable.

Crochet Bunny Mason Jar Cover

Crochet by Colleen has designed the most adorable little Easter amigurumi(ish) pattern. While it is technically a home decor item, it is still a totally cute bunny.

I love that it has a sweet little face, but that it requires very little embroidery.

Also have you ever seen a cuter little bunny bottom?

These quick and simple crochet bunny mason jars will be a big hit this Easter for sure. You could fill them with delicious colorful candy or use them to hold a few hand picked wildflowers.

Carrot Easter Garland

Nikki from The Knotted Nest has created an absolutely adorable crochet pattern. This crochet carrot garland is the perfect project for Easter.

Although it might take a little more time than some of the other projects, I think it would be totally worth it. I love that there’s some embroidery details that make the carrots look extra “carroty” (is that even a word?). Nikki has even shown them gathered in a cute little basket.

Make sure to look around the Knotted Nest blog. Nikki has so many adorable patterns and even has a Bunny Rabbit Garland as well.

Crochet Easter Eggs

The next pattern is the Crochet Easter Eggs pattern by Crochet Feelings Toys. This trio of little critter inspired Easter eggs are so adorable.

These look quick and simple, but oh so cute. I imagine any child would squeal with delight finding these in his or her basket.

One of my favorite parts is that this pattern can be adapted to make three different animals, a lamb, a chicken and a bunny.

Also, I love that the bunny is shown in a pretty pastel pink color. It’s quirky and sweet all at the same time.

Easter Bunny Gnome

I think you will all agree with me that I had no choice but to include the Easter Bunny Gnome pattern from Irina from Amigurumi Toy Pattern in this post.

Although I really wanted to keep each of these patterns in the quick and simple category, this one was too cute to leave out.

Gnomes are so on trend right now, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen an Easter Bunny version before. I love the sweet little flowers with the bead centers adorning his pointy hat.
