10 Adorable Autumn Amigurumi Patterns: Crochet & Knit
Autumn is the perfect time to crochet and knit. These ten adorable autumn amigurumi patterns are sure to bring a smile to your face. You’ll find crocheted and knitted projects, and each one is full of fall fun.
Who doesn’t love the cool crisp air of autumn? Although it’s currently still quite warm and humid here, I’m already excited about everything related to fall.
Here in North Carolina, you can’t count on consistently cooler temperatures until around November. But nothing can stop me from decorating for fall and stitching up all the cute fall crochet and knit patterns.

Wolf Pattern Update
I’ve been furiously working away on the 3 Little Pigs and Big Bad Wolf pattern. The problem is I keep tweaking it and it’s taking me longer to write out the pattern than I hoped it would.
If you would like to be the first to know when I’m going to publish the pattern, sign up for my newsletter. I will send out an email as soon as the pattern is finished.
Thank you all so much for all your interest in these piggies and wolf.
Crochet and Knit Autumn Amigurumi Patterns

Cozy Crochet Pumpkins
These adorable fuzzy pumpkins are a FREE pattern from Maria’s Blue Crayon. I don’t think I’ve ever seen crocheted pumpkins made with textured yarn before, but I love it!!
I also love how Maria used atypical colors for her pumpkins. Usually I only see pumpkins in traditional autumn colors but the teal and white are just so darn pretty.
You will also find a video for how to do the stitch in the pattern. Scroll down to the pattern notes and you’ll find the tutorial.

Crochet Pumpkin Little Folk House
Ummmm….this is one incredible autumn amigurumi pattern.
This amazing toy project is by Crochet Cute Animals. Have you ever seen something so unique?
I’m in awe of the creativity that went into this design. The pumpkin house is adorable on its own, but the addition of the fall leaves decorating the top is just out of this world.
This is the perfect example for why amigurumi is such a wonderful hobby.

Meet the Corn family. Christopher Corn, is a devoted husband and father. He enjoys golfing and DIY projects.
Next is Candace Corn, better known as Candy who loves baking. She is particularly well known for her Boston Cream pies.
Finally, last but certainly not least is Caroline Corn, the baby of the family who spends her days giggling and blowing raspberries.

Yarn for Candy Corn Family
My favorite amigurumi yarns are:
They are both fantastic wool blends that work wonderfully for crocheting or knitting toys.

Pumpkin Coffee Mug and Creepy Pumpkin Cake
This adorable pattern set by Toyfox Store is as cute as it can be.
I love how they look like a cute pair of coffee mug and pumpkin pie, but on closer inspection they are just a little bit spooky.
I think the eye on the pumpkin pie is the most clever way of using a safety eye that I’ve ever seen before.
You will also find a helpful video for how to make one of the special stitches from the pattern here: How to Crochet Granule Stitch

Knitted Patterns

The Wrong Side Pumpkin
This is an adorable knitted pumpkin from Brittany Hatcher. And what’s even better is that the pattern is FREE!
I love that this pattern was a happy accident and the story behind how the pumpkin came to be wrong side out.
This knitted pumpkin is perfect for the beginner knitter who is ready to do something a little different.

Knitted Oak Leaves
These gorgeous knitted Oak Leaves by Elves World are the perfect addition to any fall decor. I could see them strung up as a garland to decorate a mantle or a sunny window.
You could also incorporate them in a gorgeous autumn themed wreath.
Using gorgeous yarns in all the fall foliage colors would be perfect for these beautiful leaves. They would also be a fantastic stash buster project.

Knitted Acorn
Have you ever seen a giant knitted acorn? Me either.
This one from Kim Hamlin is incredible. It’s also a free download on Ravelry.
I can see this acorn used as table decor during autumn or for Thanksgiving here in the United States.

Backyard Squirrel
How adorable is this cute little knitted squirrel by Sara Elizabeth Kellner?
He looks exactly like the ones that climb the side of my French doors and jump into my bird feeder. It’s great entertainment for my cats, Olive and Pickle.
A book of Sara’s patterns will be coming out in the fall of 2022, and it will include this squirrel as well as twenty new patterns.

Friendly Farmer
This collection of knitted dolls and farm animals from Esther Braithwaite is adorable. There’s something about farm animals that always reminds me of fall. Maybe it has something to do with the book Charlotte’s Web.
You can purchase the patterns individually, but I especially like the bundle that includes:
- Farmer
- Horse
- Cow
- Duck
- Chicken
- Lamb
- Pig
Esther Joy Knits is a prolific knitted toy designer and she has so many gorgeous patterns on Ravelry. Make sure to check them all out.
